The company is a locally owned and operated business based in Minneapolis. 

They provide car services to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. They faced significant challenges in expanding their online presence and attracting new customers through digital channels. 

They wanted to establish a strong online presence and increase website traffic to attract more clients. 

My approach was to elevate their online presence, audit the website, and implement a data-driven solution.

My strategy and Implementation

Technical SEO Improvements

First, I optimized the website’s structure to make it user-friendly, resolved the indexing issue, and enhanced loading speed and mobile responsiveness.

Keyword research

conducted extensive keyword research to identify high-traffic and relevant keywords for the limousine industry in Minneapolis, mapping these keywords for every page and setting one primary keyword along with relevant secondary keywords.

Competitor Analysis

Next, conduct a competitor analysis to understand their strategies and weaknesses. Choose the top 5 competitors and analyze various aspects such as content, backlinks, keyword rankings, Google Business profiles, etc.

Claim and optimize Google business profile

Initially, the GMB listing was not created for this business. After discussing the importance of a GMB listing with the business owner, we created and verified it with their assistance. I then optimized the profile with accurate information, engaging photos, and compelling descriptions to ensure the business profile was fully completed.

Content Strategy

Develop a content strategy for each service, creating dedicated service pages for clarity. Outline and provide guidelines for content writers. Additionally, develop an informative content strategy addressing common limousine issues, tips, and how-to guides, integrating relevant keywords.

On-Page SEO

Optimized all on-page elements such as meta descriptions and title tags. Utilized heading tags, internal and external links, and image alt text to ensure content is useful for both users and search engines.

Local citation consistency

For local citations, I started by finding their existing listings. I identified numerous duplicate and inaccurate listings, which I corrected. Then, I developed a citation strategy: First, I created top citations such as Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp, etc. Next, I created business listings in niche citations relevant to transportation. Finally, I moved on to state/region-specific citations.

Building Quality Backlinks

I created a strategic link-building campaign. Initially, I established foundational backlinks such as profile backlinks and web 2.0 links. Furthermore, I collaborated with local bloggers to build 10 guest post backlinks. Additionally, I created 3 resource page backlinks featuring useful resources. I also utilized Q&A; sites (quora) to create backlinks.

Online review

I assisted them in building and managing their online reviews. I created a listing on a niche-related review site and used review management tools like Brightlocal to manage all the reviews in one place. I also showcased online reviews on their website for better conversion rates.

Results that I achieved

Organic traffic increased by over 85% in the first 3 months, rising from 500 clicks to 4K+ clicks.

We achieved first-page rankings for key terms such as "black car service Minneapolis" and "24/7 car service Minneapolis".

Enhanced User Engagement: Lower bounce rates and increased session durations indicated improved user engagement.
